Leg day used to mean two days of hobbling. I stand in front of the panel for ten minutes after the gym and my quads feel less seized up the next morning. Not magic — just noticeably less stiff.
Jake M.
Feel restored from the inside out. Ten minutes at home. No creams, no appointments, no harsh treatments. Just light.

Each step up adds coverage and power. Face treatments → Glow Mask.
Fifteen to thirty centimetres.
Ten minutes.
Stand facing the panel at treatment distance. Most people run a ten-minute timer for torso, back, or legs — enough for a solid session without overthinking it.
After training.
Or a long day.
Near-infrared reaches muscle and connective tissue. Popular after gym sessions, trades work, or desk days when your back and legs feel loaded.
Pick the size that
matches your body.
Half Body for upper or lower body. Full Body and Pro sizes cover more front surface in one go. Ultra treats front and back. Compare all five sizes in the table further down the page.
Mask for your face.
Panel for everything else.
The Glow Mask is hands-free for facial sessions. Panels treat chest, back, legs, and joints at distance.

Lower back pain from desk work was my main reason for trying this. I was sceptical — another wellness gadget. After a month of morning sessions my back feels looser by mid-morning. Still have bad days, but fewer of them.
Helen C.
Stiff shoulders from sleeping wrong. Ten minutes before breakfast and I can actually turn my head without wincing. Simple routine, no faff.
David R.
Bought it for my neck and chest skin — sun damage from years outdoors. Skin on my décolletage looks less crepey after six weeks. Subtle but real.
Margaret T.
My partner uses it for his knees after cricket on weekends. I use it on my face and neck in the evenings. We fight over who gets the good spot on the couch in front of it. Worth the investment for both of us.
Nicole S.
Honestly thought red light was overhyped until my physio mentioned trying it at home between appointments. Recovery after netball feels quicker. I am not giving it back.
Priya K.
Morning stiffness in my hips — I am 61 and it was getting old fast. Stand about 30 cm away for ten minutes with my coffee. Easier to get moving for the day.
Robert F.
Used to book clinic LED sessions at $80 a pop. This paid for itself in a couple of months. Same warm light feeling, in my spare room, whenever I want. Delivery was quick to Sydney too.
Emma L.
Post-run calves and shins. I prop it on the stand and sit on the floor. Less DOMS than I expected for the volume I am running.
Tom B.
Tradesman — sore lower back most days. Wife got this for my birthday. Ten minutes before bed and I sleep a bit better. She says I complain less, which is probably the real win.
Mark W.
I have the mask for my face and added a panel for everything else. Shoulders, stomach, legs. Different tools for different jobs but the panel gets more use because I can treat my whole front in one go.
Sarah M.
Setup took five minutes on the door stand. Timer beeps, I close my eyes, done. Low effort which means I actually use it most days unlike the foam roller gathering dust.
Lauren W.
Shift work wrecked my sleep schedule. I use it on my chest and face before a nap sometimes. Hard to say what is the light and what is resting, but I feel more human afterward.
Chris H.
Fibromyalgia made me try everything. This does not fix it — I want to be clear. But on good weeks the morning session takes the edge off enough that I get through breakfast without dreading standing up. That alone is worth it for me.
Linda K.
Stand close, ten minutes, done. No complicated setup, no harsh output, no EMF concern. Just consistent light doing what it's designed to do.
100,000-hour LEDs. Three-year warranty. This isn't a device you try for a month — it's infrastructure for how you recover, long term.

Penetration depth
Not all wavelengths go to the same depth. This is why having all five matters — each one targets a different layer of tissue.
The shortest wavelength in the range — visible to the eye as red light. Activates mitochondria in skin cells, accelerating collagen synthesis and wound healing at the surface.
The most studied wavelength in photobiomodulation research. Activates fibroblasts — the cells that produce collagen and elastin. Over 1,000 published studies examine 660nm specifically.
810nm transitions into the optical window of tissue where absorption by water and haemoglobin is minimised. Strong affinity for cytochrome c oxidase with emerging neuroprotective evidence.
830nm is particularly well-studied for joint and cartilage applications. Multiple controlled trials show significant pain reduction in osteoarthritis patients.
The deepest-penetrating wavelength. At 4-5cm depth, 850nm reaches tissue no topical treatment can touch — stimulating mitochondrial ATP in the deep muscle tissue that breaks down under training load.
The mechanism
The chain of events from photon to ATP — explained step by step.

The key molecule
Cytochrome c oxidase (CCO) is Complex IV of the mitochondrial electron transport chain. It is the primary photoacceptor in photobiomodulation — the molecule that actually absorbs the red and NIR photons and converts that energy into accelerated electron flow.
Under normal conditions, CCO can become partially inhibited by nitric oxide (NO) — particularly in cells under oxidative stress or low energy demand. Red and NIR light photodissociates this NO inhibition, freeing CCO to operate at full capacity.
The result: the electron transport chain runs faster, the proton gradient builds higher, and ATP synthase produces more ATP per unit time. This is not a placebo mechanism — it is measurable, reproducible, and well-characterised in peer-reviewed biochemistry literature.
